Warren Buffett is bullish on airline stocks. Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) - Get Report  had taken positions in major U.S. airlines, including American Airlines  (AAL) - Get Report , Delta Air Lines (DAL) - Get Report , and United Continental (UAL) - Get Report , according to a regulatory filings. He also holds a position in Southwest  (LUV) - Get Report , according to CNBC.  Berkshire already invests in other transportation related companies, like NetJets and BNSF railroad, but has steered clear of airline stocks for some time. Berkshire also cut its holdings in Walmart Stores  (WMT) - Get Report  by nearly 70 percent.
