Walmart (WMT) is expanding what was once a one-day shopping wonder, Black Friday, to a 5-day extravaganza. The deals start on Walmart.com on Thanksgiving morning and in stores at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day, with additional promotions until the Monday after Thanksgiving, known as Cyber Monday. Last year, the retailer served 22 million customers on Thanksgiving Day and is expecting more families to hit the stores and website this year. Walmart also said it has lowered the prices on the hottest Black Friday items, compared to 2013. Shares of Walmart are up 0.8% since the start of the year.
