Walmart To Offer Over 20,000 Rollbacks Before Holiday Season

Starting Nov. 1, Walmart will offer more than 20,000 rollbacks for at least 90 days on items customers need around the holidays and every occasion in between. Chief merchandising officer of Walmart, Duncan Mac Naughton, said 'Helping families deliver an amazing Christmas doesn't start on Black Friday, it starts now.' Mac Naughton pointed out that after Halloween, customers want to start prepping for Thanksgiving and begin buying Christmas trees and gifts. Customers want the best deals now and Walmart will be there to help them throughout the season. Walmart plans to open more checkout lines during peak shopping times. The retailer will also offer hundreds of weekly online specials, free shipping for orders totaling $50 or more and will consider matching in-store prices with online competitors if a customer asks.
