Walmart (WMT) - Get Report is cutting 1,000 jobs, largely in its human resources department. The cuts are expected to take place before the end of January, according to The Wall Street Journal. Walmart told TheStreet that no announcements have been made and that the company is "always looking for ways to operate more efficiently and effectively." Walmart made an additional 7,000 job cuts in September.
