Walmart's CEO Takes Us Inside His Acquisitive Mind
Walmart's CEO Doug McMillon has been making big deals to transform the retail giant. Here is how he thinks through making big buys.
Walmart (WMT) - Get Report CEO Doug McMillon has proven he isn't afraid of doing the the big, trans-formative deal.
Don't expect him to stop opening his checkbook anytime soon.
"We are trying to mostly build the assortment, a customer is looking to us for not just value but they want to have a wide selection," McMillon explained to TheStreet when asked about the retailer's acquisition strategy. "We are focused on busy families, so moms are important -- we want to make every day easier for busy families."
