The Dow Jones Industrials snapped a seven day losing streak Monday in a broad-based rally. Shares of Dow Component, Apple (AAPL), bounced back on reports the tech giant will unveil its next generation iPhone at an event taking place the week of September 7. Buzzfeed also said Apple could reveal a new Apple TV top box. The markets also got a boost from billionaire Warren Buffett whose Berkshire Hathaway (BKB.A) bought Precision Castparts (PCP), which makes aircraft equipment, for $37.2 billion. Shares of Twitter (TWTR) rallied after the social media company announced a content deal with the National Football League and on news Twitter executives, including co-founder and interim CEO, Jack Dorsey, bought shares in the company. Meanwhile, the NY Post reported that Twitter has approached Intel (INTC) President Renee James about becoming CEO. Last month, James announced plans to leave Intel early next year in order to pursue a CEO position.
