U.S. stock futures were rising Friday and European shares traded higher following the surprise vote in the U.K.
U.S. stock futures were rising Friday and European shares traded higher following the surprise vote in the U.K. and a day after former FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress as part of the investigation into Russian meddling into the 2016 presidential election.
Wall Street was riveted during Comey's testimony but did, however, manage to finish the session with slight gains.
The S&P 500 rose 0.03%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.04%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.39% to finish at a new record high of 6,321.76.
