Japan turned in the longest unbroken streak in more than a decade. The country has been working to spur local consumers with 'Abenomics', named after the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Investors like that Japan's growth came from within, bolstering ideas that the global economy is growing. President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order today to request a trade investigation of China. This is for alleged theft of American technology and intellectual property and could be more economic pressure to get China to do more about North Korea. Chinese media called the expected announcement 'poison' that will damage trade relations. Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report has hired a star producer from ABC. The streaming company is hiring Shonda Rhimes, the creator of 'Gray's Anatomy' and 'Scandal'. Rhimes will reportedly be paid $10 million a year.
