Wake Up Wall Street: Stores Lose Ground and Shares Slide

BP (BP) - Get Report shares slid after posting lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profits. This comes despite a rise in global oil prices.
Walmart (WMT) - Get Report continued to lose ground in the U.K, as low-cost competitors gained steam and inflation took hold.
Gap (GPS) - Get Report shares rose in after-hours trading Monday after fourth-quarter sales increased, with same-store sales up 2% compared with the previous year.
Honda (HMC) - Get Report signed a deal with Hitachi Automotive Systems (HTHIY) . The companies will jointly develop, make and sell motors for electric cars.
The euro fell on weaker-than-expected economic data from Germany, with investors also expressing concern over the direction of elections in France.
