The proposed Anthem (ANTM) - Get Report merger with Cigna (CI) - Get Report has been blocked by a U.S. federal judge as being anticompetitive.

Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report said it would shut down production at its California assembly plant for a week this month to prepare for production of its high-volume Model 3 sedan, Reuters reported, moving the electric car maker closer to meeting its target to start production in July.

Leaders from the U.S. airline industry will be meeting with President Donald Trump on Thursday, with topics likely to include the president's travel ban on citizens from seven countries and airlines' complaints over terms granted to the subsidized Middle East carriers.

Whole FoodsMarket (WFM) fell 1.5% in premarket trading on Thursday after the struggling grocer reported disappointing first-quarter earnings and lowered its 2017 guidance.
