VW Unveils Futuristic I.D. Concept Car at North American International Auto Show
Volkswagen unveils concept vehicles at the Detroit Auto Show and looks for 2017 to be a 'restart' year in the U.S. following its emissions scandal.
Volkswagen (VLKAY) has revealed two electric concept vehicles at the North American International Auto Show as it attempts to move forward from its emissions scandal.
VW unveiled a futuristic I.D. electric concept car, along with the I.D. Buzz , which is an electric minibus.
Jurgen Stackmann, a member of VW's board of management, says VW is committed to the U.S., and looks to 2017 to be a "restart" year after the scandal. He also says VW is expanding its factory in Chattanooga, Tenn.
