A Voyager Therapeutics gene therapy is showing early, promising improvements for patients with Parkinson's disease. Interim results from a clinical  trial show that the one time gene therapy treatment can improve motor function. While the new data is encouraging, Voyager has only performed its gene therapy surgery on ten Parkinson's patients and the clinical trial is ongoing. The treatment is not a cure for Parkinson's, but it's hoped that it can roll back and slow the progression of the disease. TheStreet's Adam Feurstein has more details.
