Virgin America Lifted by Bullish Initiations, Walgreen Boosted
Virgin America (VA) gets strong initiations and a price target boost for Walgreen (WAG) in Wednesday's Analysts' Actions. Virgin America is now being covered at Barclays with an OVERWEIGHT rating and a $42 price target. The analysts at Barclays say the airline's model has proven successful in generating premium revenue in its most developed markets. Deutsche Bank also in starting Virgin America with a bullish call. The firm initiated with a BUY rating and an even higher price target at $44 a share. That's a more than 22% upside from where the stock previously closed. The firm thinks the company is a niche player that should benefit from industry consolidation. JPMorgan boosted its price target for Walgreen to $88 from $70 on its view the drugstore giant will see a 'nice EPS upside.'
