TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer said Marvell's (MRVL) - Get Report plan to acquire Cavium (CAVM) is 'very smart.'

"This gets Marvell away from just being known as a company that provides components to disk drives, which is a business that's in secular decline," Cramer said.
