The global equity market cap is down $6 trillion to $80.6 trillion during the latest correction, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
And the selling may not be done.
Meanwhile, amid the announcement of President Trump's trade tariffs, media reports are wondering about the future of National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn, who was reportedly against the tariffs.
"I feel very, very strongly that if Gary leaves, that's a reason that people would pause and say I'm going to take profits in XYZ," said TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer.
