After Dish wowed streaming TV subscribers with its Sling option, allowing users to access ESPN and major networks, cable titan Verizon responded -- without even having to set foot into Sin City! CEO Lowell McAdam took to the stage at another conference, to jeer reports his company would buy AOL, but to also tell Verizon customers that a streaming option just for them is on the way -- up to 30 streaming channels by smartphone before the end of the year.
