Valeant Stock Jumps as it Will Meet Deadline to File Financials

Valeant (VRX) shares climbed Wednesday as investors reacted to the latest developments regarding its financial reporting. Valeant said it will file its quarterly report with regulators next week, and discuss its delayed first quarter numbers in a conference call. That means Valeant will file the results well ahead of its July 31st deadline. Valeant had delayed its earnings due to an accounting review, and didn't file its 2015 numbers until late April.  Investors had been concerned about how Valeant was managing its debt.  In early afternoon trading Wednesday, Valeant shares were up more than seven percent.
