The Greek Parliament approved the austerity measures imposed by eurozone members to ensure bailout money. Now, the European Central Bank will decide if Greece will get an emergency bridge loan to pay immediate bills. ECB President Mario Draghi indicated the funding taps will be turned on for Greece. Weekly jobless claims came in 281,000, slightly below the 285,000 that was expected. Citigroup (C) profit soared on lower litigation costs. Earnings a year ago for the banking giant were almost wiped out due to legal costs. Citigroup is trying to build on momentum it established in the first quarter when its results came in better than expected thanks to cost cutting. Uber may be suspended and fined in California. A judge agreed with the California Public Utilities Commission that Uber had not been complying with state laws regarding fair passenger pick ups. Uber says it will appeal the decision.
