U.S. stocks opened higher Thursday as the European Central Bank keeps interest rates at record lows. The search for a new CEO of Twitter (TWTR) intensifies as the company's board meets today. Investors will be looking for either a decision or at least an update on the CEO search process. Samsung is officially unveiling its new smartwatch at the Consumer Electronics show in Berlin. It's called the Gear S2 and it will let users make quick voice calls without having to link to nearby smartphones. Both of the new models will support calendars, texting and email. Campbell Soup (CPB) says its organic line of food is selling well. It beat profit and sales expectations. Higher prices on products also helped. Weekly jobless claims came in above expectations, rising 12,000 to 282,000 and to an 8 week high.
