U.S. markets opened higher Wednesday on upbeat earnings reports. Boeing (BA) raised its 2015 outlook and its profits climbed 25%. It was boosted by continued growth in deliveries of its commercial jetliners. Coca Cola (KO) saw quarterly revenue fall nearly 5% as a strong dollar reduced the value of sales outside of North America. General Motors (GM) smashes earnings estimates and had a big profit and revenue beat. GM was helped by strong demand for pick-up trucks in North America. Yahoo (YHOO), however continues to struggle. The company reported disappointing quarterly results, a new search partnership with Google and that it will take a $42 million loss on its original programming 'The Community'.
