UPS CFO: Price Increases Are Helping
UPS reports better than expected second quarter earnings.
UPS (UPS) - Get United Parcel Service, Inc. Class B Report had a solid quarter, showing that it could pass along price increases to online shoppers with some success.
The shipping and logistics giant reported second quarter earnings of $1.58 a share, blowing by Wall Street forecasts for $1.47 a share. Revenue per piece, a key metric watched by investors, rose a solid 3% on the back of recent price hikes.
