Under Armour is releasing its first collection of apparel made in the U.S.
Just days after Under Armour (UA) - Get Report CEO Kevin Plank met with President Donald Trump to speak about manufacturing jobs in the U.S., he announced that Under Armour is releasing its first collection of apparel made in the U.S. The collection is produced at Under Armour's new Baltimore facility, Lighthouse. The line is a women's sports bra and legging set called Arris Project.
An initial production run will produce 2,000 units for a pricey $120 for the legging and $50 for the bra. Lighthouse is a massive 35,000 square foot high-tech facility opened last year with the goal of bringing down manufacturing costs.
