Under Armour, Nike and Adidas Golf Shirts Put to The Test
Golf apparel is big business around the world.
Golf apparel is big business around the world. Each year, in the U.S. alone, American golfers spend roughly $1.5 billion on golf apparel and accessories, according to Golf2020. Many of the game's biggest names wear the best known brands. Masters winner Jordan Spieth recently signed a 10 year deal to wear Under Armour (UA). Veteran Sergio Garcia was reportedly paid $5 million to wear Adidas in 2013 and perhaps the best-known name, Tiger Woods, is reportedly paid $20 million a year to wear Nike (NKE). They tested the shirts at a local New York City driving range.
