Italians vote Sunday on a constitutional amendment on political reforms and the outcome remains uncertain heading into the weekend, says Dr. Chris Hanretty of the University of East Anglia. He believes the government will lose its bid to reform the political power structure, and that Italy's Prime Minister will follow through on his promise to resign. The timing of that, however, is not clear, nor is it known who would takeover for him. Dr. Hanretty does not believe the vote will create the same sort of disruption as the Brexit vote.
