Uber Technologies looks set for a trying Tuesday as its CEO meets with London's transportation regulator and the ride-sharing app's board reportedly plans to vote on a controversial move that could diminish the power of some shareholders.

Uber's newly appointed CEO Dara Khosrowshahi will Tuesday meet Transport for London (TfL) head Mike Brown after the transportation regulator 10 days ago said it would not renew the ride-hailing company's license to operate. TfL said Uber was not a "fit and proper" operator when it pulled its licence two weeks ago. The location and time of the meeting have not been disclosed.

Khosrowshahi will have to face the likely contentious meeting without the point person between Uber and TfL. Uber's British boss, Jo Bertram, who had been leading talks with the regulator, left the company only yesterday.
