Uber's London operations hit a serious roadblock.
Transport for London, the agency that regulates the city's transportation services says it will not renew Uber's license as a private hire operator. That license expires just days from now at the end of September.
Uber has 21 days to appeal the decision.
Transport for London cited several reasons for the decision, including the company's approach to reporting serious crimes, questions about whether Uber sufficiently checked if drivers could be sexual offenders, along with the use of "Greyball" software that could be used to block regulators from gaining full access to their app.
