Uber is reportedly bidding for 'Here', Nokia's Digital Mapping Service The New York Times says Uber's bid is for as much as $3 billion dollars. The bid competes with one in the works from German automakers BMW, Audi, and Mercedez-Benz. Syngenta has rejected an unsolicited takeover offer from US rival Monsanto (MON). It says the $45 billion offer undervalues the Swiss agrochemical giant. Monster Beverage (MNST) profit tumbled in the first quarter as it was weighed down by termination payments as it transfers distribution to Coca-Cola (KO). The energy drink maker was also hurt by the strong U.S. dollar.
