U.S. Open Champion Graeme McDowell on the Future of Golf

2010 U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell said golf needs to be sexier. 'You see a company like Nike (NKE) - Get Report pulling the plug on golf equipment and you ask yourself what's going on,' McDowell said. 'There's no doubt the game of golf needs to be faster, it needs to be cooler and it needs to be sexier.' McDowell said the elitism often tied to golf needs to be removed in order to attract more young people to the sport. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Bethpage State Park on Long Island, the site of the 2016 golf tournament The Barclays.
