Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report shares were rising Wednesday following a Wall Street Journal report that the company will be fielding acquisition offers this week. The struggling social media company received its biggest pop of the year last week following rumors that Twitter was in serious acquisition talks. Stagnant monthly average users and increased competition from rivals Facebook (FB) - Get Report and Snapchat have left the once popular social network's stock gasping for air.
