Stocks traded slightly lower in Monday's trading session as investors sorted through earnings news. Oil and Gas and basic materials are the worst performing sectors. The U.S. service sector remains solid. The Purchasing Manager's Index showed a slight slowdown in October, but is still expanding. Pending Home Sales inched up 0.3 percent in September according to the National Association of Realtors. Falling oil prices are taking down energy stocks with it. Dow components Chevron (CVX) and Exxon Mobil (XOM) traded lower. After the closing bell, investors will get quarterly reports from Twitter (TWTR) and T-mobile (TMUS). Shares of both companies are down more than one percent at midday. TheStreet's Susannah Lee reports from New York.
