Twitter Shares Jump on Apple Talks

Shares of Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report jumped Monday on news of a potential deal with Apple (AAPL) - Get Report . Twitter is reportedly in talks to launch an app on Apple TV that could allow millions of users to watch National Football League games that Twitter will stream. The company agreed to pay about $10 million for the rights to live-stream 10 Thursday night NFL games during the 2016 season. Twitter also has streaming agreements with Wimbledon, CBS News, the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League and Pac-12 Networks.
