Twitter (TWTR) may have found its next CEO. The micro-blog site has reached out to Intel (INTC) President Renee James about taking the top job, according to the New York Post. Just last month, James announced plans to leave Intel early next year. The reason, she says, is that she wants a CEO job. Earlier this year, TheStreet's Ruben Ramirez sat down with James at CES to talk about female leadership in the tech industry and the need for more diversity. James told TheStreet that Intel has invested tens of millions of dollars to promote diversity, and that the technology industry should join Intel's efforts. As a woman executive, James said she felt 'pretty anonymous' at last winter's CES Conference. Other candidates suggested as the next possible CEO at Twitter include Jack Dorsey, the current interim CEO; Adam Bain, it's head of revenue and partnerships; Twitter co-founder Evan Williams; and Flipboard CEO Mike McCue.
