Twitter Users React to Netflix Raising Its Prices
Stranger things have happened.
Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report and Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report go hand in hand. If you're Netflixing alone then you're probably toying with your phone on Twitter, commenting on whatever you're watching. So it's no surprise that Twitter users took their various emotions to the social sharing site over the rising monthly subscription price.
If you have the standard service you'll see the price increase to $11 a month, up from $10. Subscription prices for the premium service, which has ultra HD content, will go up to $14 monthly, up from $12.
Most reacted to the fact that they're sharing a Netflix password anyway, so they hoped the actual owner of the account would pay the bill.
