Twitter earned 2 cents per share on revenue of $243 million in its fourth quarter. Analysts were looking for a loss of 2 cents on sales of $218 million. Last year Twitter posted sales of $112 million in its fourth quarter. As for details, average monthly active users were 241 million, an increase of 30% year-over-year. Mobile users reached 184 million in the fourth quarter, up 37% since last year. Those user numbers seem to be spooking the street, however, and Twitter's stock finished 1% lower in the regular session and are down another 11% in after hours trading.
