Twitter's head of news, Vivian Schiller, announced her departure from the company through a series of tweets -- less than one year after taking the job. Schiller cited a larger reorganization taking place at the company -- being lead by the company's new media boss, Katie Stanton. Her resignation follows a series of changes in senior management at Twitter. Both former COO Ali Rowghani and former head of North American media, Chloe Sladden, resigned on the same day in June. Schiller thanked them in her series of tweets for hiring her. According to reports, Schiller will be replaced by Adam Sharp, head of the company's government and elections team.
