President Obama is gearing up for his final State of the Union address, oil slides to its lowest level in 12 years and Starbucks is expanding in China.
President Obama is gearing up for his final State of the Union address on Tuesday night. The President is expected to address gun control, criminal justice reform and defeating ISIS. Also trending, oil prices continue to slide, flirting with $30 a barrel. At one point on Tuesday, the closely watched commodity dipped below $30, the first time since December 2003. Analysts at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Citi say oil could slide to $20. Oil is down over 18 percent since the start of the year. Finally, Starbucks (SBUX) says it will open 2,500 new stores in China over the next 5 years. The coffee giant already operates 2,000 stores in the region.
