Trump's Supreme Court Nominee Fires Back at President Over Judiciary Criticism
Not all is well in Trumpland.
President Donald Trump wasn't exactly pleased with a federal judge's decision to overturn his immigration ban last week. Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, had a meeting Wednesday with Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal, who expressed his concerns in an interview with reporters.
"He certainly expressed to me that he is disheartened by the demoralizing and abhorrent comments made by President Trump about the judiciary. I believe he has an obligation to make his view known more explicitly and unequivocally to the American people."
