Tronc Is Close to Purchasing Us Weekly

Tronc (TRNC) is close to purchasing  Us Weekly from Wenner Media, according to a report by TheStreet's Ken Doctor. The price tag is expected to range between $85 million and $95 million. The acquisition, if completed, would add some $15 million to $20 million in annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. Tronc shares moved lower by 2% on Tuesday.
