Trifecta Stocks Adds Chipotle Mexican Grill to the Bullpen

The Street's Trifecta Stocks portfolio has placed shares of Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) in the bullpen, which means the fund could add shares to its holdings in the future. Chipotle has been hammered by food safety issues as of late. But fundamental analyst Chris Versace said once Chipotle management gets its arms around the problem, and it fades, ‘we'll be back to the races' with Chipotle. Separately, Versace is watching shares of Costco, after the company reported results. While the company missed earnings per share estimates, Versace said his inclination is to add shares on weakness, because the company is still showing positive comps. Additionally, Versace sees Costco as a play on the cash-strapped consumer.
