I think the FAANG earnings next week are gonna be really important. Obviously, stocks that have been with the market for years obviously encountered some volatility last year. Facebook encountered a lot of issues recently with calls for breaking up the company or at least its management as well as ongoing scandals that seem to be every week. So, I'll be really interested in hearing the management commentary there to kind of assuage those concerns that a lot of investors are having at the moment for sure. Obviously, Apple will be one of the most important and the big thing for Apple is to make sure that January 3rd note from Tim Cook shook out all the bad news. I think that the semiconductor earnings reports that showed weakness into the first quarter and didn't necessarily slide so significantly indicates that the market has realized that is going to be the case for the first quarter and may give Apple a bit of a baseline to move from especially if they don't undercut what's already a more tempered forecast. Obviously Apple being one of the biggest stocks in the market is going to be one of the most important ones and that's one that I'll really be watching both from a number standpoint to make sure that they don't disappoint further after the pre-forecast and then also on management commentary for the full year will be really important to make sure that people don't lose sight of different programs like health care that they're really touting. It'll be really important for them to say that those wearables, the health care aspects can be that stock into the full year even if March is going to be softer as expected."

It's an earnings bonanza!

Real Money's Kevin Curran discussed what he's watching when Apple (AAPL) , Facebook (FB) and Amazon (AMZN) release earnings.
