Traders Watch Key Housing and Manufacturing Data and Consumer Earnings

Housing Data, including New and Existing Home Sales and S&P/Case-Shiller will be key for the Week Ahead, June 23. TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino and Andrew Krill highlight the trading calendar as investors look to housing and manufacturing numbers to gauge the strength of consumer spend. In addition, several Fed presidents will be on the speaking circuit commenting on the strength of the economy. While the earnings calendar is light, a handful of names will certainly drive headlines keeping on the consumer, housing and growth theme: Nike, ConAgra, Walgreens, Lennar and KB Homes. Traders want more of a look into how wage stagnation and rising costs are impacting the bottom line to revenue growth.
