Toyota said on Wednesday it would recall more than 360,000 vehicles worldwide, including the Camry sedan, covering three separate defects. 170,000 Camrys have been recalled due to a faulty ball joint that could cause a loss of control of the vehicle. Europe accounts for most of the recalls totaling about 120,000 vehicles, followed by Japan with 40,000. Another recall covers over 105,000 Hiace, Regius Ace and Dyna models due to issues with the fuel pipe. The third recall is for 86,000 Crown and Crown Majesta models in Japan to replace the outer seat belt. Toyota is not aware of any crashes, injuries or deaths from all three recalls.
