The Trump administration is providing more details on its plans to curb foreign investment in U.S. companies, much to the relief of many investors.
That's the assessment from Matthew Cheslock, an equity trader with Virtu Financial, based on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
"I think we got some clarity - and that's what the market has always asked for - they want clarity on any situation," he said. "We had mixed messages coming from various people including Navarro and Mnuchin about that rule on Monday and that's what caused that sharp decline."
