Americans aren't saving enough as they should be for retirement.
The reason comes down to a lack of education, according to Marianne Harrison, CEO of John Hancock.
"People are living longer than they [used to] so now your savings have to last a lot longer," she said. "We're also starting to see people working longer."
Harrison said John Hancock is piloting digital investment advice platforms to attract Millennial customers, who are known to flock to robo-advisers.
