These Four Stocks Are Driving the Dow Industrials Higher

Four stocks have been responsible for the gains in the Dow Jones Industrial Average so far this year: Apple (AAPL) - Get Report , Visa (V) - Get Report , IBM (IBM) - Get Report and Boeing (BA) - Get Report . Apple is up 13.6% year to date, while Visa is up 10%. IBM is up 6.7% and Boeing shares gained 6% since the start of the year. "Visa recently completed its acquisition of Visa Europe," said TheStreet's banking editor James Langford. "That's expected to boost their earnings significantly through the current year."
