There's a new big dog in business, Alphabet Becomes Most Valuable

Alphabet (GOOG) has just passed Apple (AAPL) to be the most valuable company in the world after easily beating results. Google's online search business is soaring and iPhone sales are slowing. Alphabet is now worth $6 billion more than Apple. Iowa caucus voters have spoken. Ted Cruz won the republican contest, Donald Trump was second and Marco Rubio finished a strong third. In the Democrat contest, Hillary Clinton squeaked out a victory over Bernie Sanders in the closet ever vote in the Iowa caucuses. Crude oil prices are falling again after OPEC cast doubt that a supply cut was imminent. BP (BP) just reported its worst annual loss in 20 years. It's also cutting thousands more jobs due to low oil prices.
