Wells Fargo Advisors Scott Wren says recent market volatility is good for retail investors and recommends cyclical stocks, but says investors should avoid defensive stocks.
Wells Fargo Advisors senior equity strategist Scott Wren tells TheStreet's Joe Deaux that the stock market isn't biting on rising tensions in Ukraine. Uncertainty certainly is cause for investor concern, but it really is more of a problem if natural gas pipelines are blocked off. Wren also says recent market volatility is good for retail investors. Wren recommends investors allocate into cyclical stocks, but he says they should avoid defensive stocks.
