Patel now focuses on EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Asia Pacific excluding Japan for her role within Goldman Sachs. She serves on the Asia Pacific Management Committee and Growth Markets Executive Committee for Goldman.

Patel was recently elevated to Goldman's management committee by CEO successor David Solomon and retiring CEO Lloyd Blankfein.
