The economy added 261,000 jobs in October, according to a Friday report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Job growth was severely impacted in September thanks to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The economy initially lost 33,000 jobs in September, but on Friday, that number was revised higher to a gain of 18,000 positions.
