As the Dow Jones Industrial Average nears 20,000, investors may want to look overseas for investing opportunities. "I think of the stock market as a global market," says Laurence Siegel, director of research at the CFA Institute Research Foundation. "I think that the U.S. is only one of many important countries to think about as investment opportunities. I would rather look at the rest of the world than at the U.S. right now as the source of the greatest opportunity." He said emerging markets are deeply depressed, while the U.S. markets keep hitting fresh record highs. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from New York.
